1. Why should I use DEBT RX USA to settle my debts as opposed to handling it myself?
Our team of negotiators has extensive experience in debt settlement and specifically negotiating with creditors. We have a proven and successful track record with the creditors, collection agencies and law offices, most of which have a non-negotiation policy directly with consumers in the form of lump-sum settlements that also allow for a monthly payment plan. Our team has extensive knowledge in settling consumer debt in conjunction with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

2. When will DEBT RX USA begin the settlement process?
Once you have fully retained our services and you have given us permission to act as your representatives, your creditors will be notified immediately and we will begin the settlement process. It is important to note that finalization of a settlement can only be confirmed once the funds are available in your settlement account.

3. What if my creditors will not settle?
There are very few instances where a creditor will refuse to settle your debt. As with any negotiation process, there are offers and counter-offers and given time, a settlement can be reached. Creditors realize that settlement is also in their best interest because if a debtor chooses to file bankruptcy, most cases the creditor will be left with nothing.

4. Will I still receive harassing telephone calls from my creditors?
Avoid companies that guarantee that ALL creditor calls will stop. The bottom-line is you do owe the creditors money and they have the right to attempt to collect on those debts owed to them. They are, however, NOT allowed to harass or threaten you. We notify your creditors that we will be representing you and also inform them that they should contact us regarding any information needed to settle your debt. Most creditor calls will stop within 30 to 60 days. If you should continue to get calls, our customer service department needs to be informed by you and we will again contact that specific creditor and inform them that any additional communication needs to be with us and not you. In all cases, it is recommended that you keep a call log on any calls received from any creditor with respect to the debt you enrolled into our program.

5. Do I keep paying my minimum payments on my credit card(s)?
Debt settlement companies will never ask you or tell you to stop paying your credit card minimums. You have a choice and it has to be your decision to meet your obligations to your creditors through the debt settlement process.

6. How does this affect my credit score?
Unlike other alternatives like bankruptcy and consumer credit counseling (CCC), entering our program is NOT reported on your credit report. Your employer, landlord or any other company or organization who may view your credit report will NOT see that you are in our debt settlement program. However, like all debt relief programs your credit rating will be affected. How much your credit is affected depends upon your current credit score.

7. Will I be dropped or cancelled from your program if I miss a monthly payment?
Absolutely not. Communication is vital. Simply call your customer service representative and we will work with you and around any situation. We understand that circumstances present themselves and the important thing to remember is we work for you and we are on your side.
